3-minute face

So, we all know the stereotypes that guys have in mind when we have to put on make-up: it’ll take hours! Not true! I’m here to show you that you can do your makeup in just 3 minutes. It’s really easy and simple. It’s good for those who are in a hurry (esp. in the morning). Don’t forget to moisture your face properly first before you apply your foundation and wash your hands.

So, first, you’ll want to reduce all the redness and cover some of the blemishes. For that, we’ll need a good foundation. If you’ve a flawless skin and not much redness, you might want to consider getting a tinted moisturizer. You can even opt for mineral powder foundation, but beware that it might look powdery on you. So, pour some of the foundation to your palm and rub your palms together. Apply the foundation from your palms to your face (incl. your eyelids), neck AND chest. Blend them to the hairline with your fingers. That’ll take a good 5-10 secs.

2nd, using your ring finger, take some of the foundation and apply it to the areas that need more coverage (i.e. under the eyes and blemishes).

Then, once you’re happy with the coverage, clean your hands with tissue and blend your foundation once again with your fingers, especially your eyelids (to ensure no creases). Loosely dust your face with powder if you have a combination or oily skin. If you have a dry skin, you can skip this step.

Apply blush across the cheekbone with a blush brush/contour brush and blend with your fingers.

Curl your lashes (optional) and apply mascara. Wiggle that mascara wand at the base of the lashes and blink for an easier application.

Finish the look with your fav. lipgloss.

Here’s a before and after pic of myself. Actually I already wear my foundation in the before pic.

It should take you more or less 3-min, but nothing more than 5-min. Really fast and easy. It brings colors to your face without looking too much. Very natural looking.

There’s a trick to this, though. The blush that I’m using (dainty from MAC mineralize blush) has a little shimmer to it which gives a subtle glow to my face.
